• As the Practice Director for Toptal’s Business Strategy and Finance Consulting Practice, you will build and lead one of the most strategic practices

• Evaluate the ever-changing needs of our industries and clients to create optimal management consulting services

• Work directly with clients to sell, solution, and deliver world-class services

• Lead strategic initiatives, helping clients navigate complex challenges and drive organizational change

• Implement risk management frameworks, optimize financial performance, and design innovative solutions

• Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders

• Responsible for building and scaling Toptal’s Business Strategy and Finance Consulting Practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required, MBA preferred

• 10+ years of experience in business strategy consulting and/or finance consulting, preferably at least 5+ years in both selling and delivering consulting services

• 3+ years managing business results including sales, revenue, and profitability

• Experience in selling and delivering Business Strategy and Finance Consulting engagements with deep expertise in one or more of the following areas: Strategy & Innovation, Business Transformation, Risk, Customer, M&A, and Finance

• Strong consulting experience including outstanding written and verbal communication

• Skilled at collaborating with industry and client teams to promote, position, and sell consulting services effectively

• Strong command of P&L management and a deep understanding of financial metrics

• Proven track record of rapid career progression

• Experience packaging, pricing, and delivering compelling solutions

• Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to do the work

• Make data-informed decisions and define key metrics to measure progress

• Exceptional relationship-building and leadership skills

• Regular or periodic travel to meet and engage with Toptal clients.
