RSI is looking to welcome a Technical Business Analyst who will leverage your understanding of existing system requirements and use cases. Our Technical Business Analyst is responsible to write and execute test cases to validate changes made to resolve system issues and participate in all testing activities associated with system changes.

As the primary intermediary between our clients/project support teams and our product development group, you will serve as the key translator of customer needs into requirements for our software products. You will evaluate software product enhancement requests and work with end clients and business analysts to define, design, and implement the features needed for our products. Our Technical Business Analysts work closely with our product engineering team and quality assurance team to bring features to market in a responsive manner. This role is also responsible for providing ongoing communication back to the clients and/or RSI project teams.

  • BS in Business, MIS, Computer Science or related work experience
  • Immediate authorization to work in the US
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience as a Business Analyst in a technical environment
  • Experience documenting “as is” and “to be” business processes
  • Experience leading client design sessions
  • Experience gathering, creating and managing requirements and documenting them in an industry standard format such as Use Cases, System Requirements Specifications or User Stories.
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases, Data Structures, and standard development techniques (RUP,?OOD,?SDLC)
  • SQL skills
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp and understand both business and technical concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people including management, subject matter experts, developers, and testers
  • Customer-focused attitude and desire to interface directly with end-user clients
