Amazon is hiring for Amazon Warehouse Loader
Join the Amazon team working at the sortation center, where you'll be working with a group of dedicated individuals committed to getting customer orders delivered promptly. You will be responsible for sorting, scanning, and stacking packages in a fast-paced work environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Classify and organize inventory promptly to avoid delays in processing orders
- Timely and accurate assembly of customer orders is essential to meeting delivery deadlines
- Capitalize on the advantages of modern technology, such as scanners, computers, and mobile printers
- The maximum load that can be lifted is 49 pounds
- Shift work requires employees to participate in physical activities such as standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching for extended periods
- Before attempting to move any item, assess its weight and size to determine the best equipment to use for the job
- Always exercise caution and use the correct form when moving up or down a staircase
- Perform responsibilities at heights up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (if applicable).
