Virtual Inpatient Nurse-Virtual Nursing id-19120

UnityPoint Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Virtual Inpatient Nurse to join our innovative Virtual Nursing team. As a Virtual Inpatient Nurse, you will provide high-quality, remote patient care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes, using state-of-the-art technology. This role allows you to deliver critical nursing interventions, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, all while maintaining a flexible work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote, real-time patient assessments and interventions for individuals receiving inpatient care.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition through telehealth technology.
  • Collaborate with physicians, care teams, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, and post-care instructions.
  • Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with health regulations and policies.
  • Ensure timely follow-up care and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide compassionate support to patients and their families, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their care journey.
