About the position

The Senior Manager, Communications at Western Digital is a pivotal role focused on executive communications. This position involves developing and executing communication strategies for the CEO Designate and other executive leaders, ensuring effective messaging across various platforms. The role requires exceptional communication skills and a proven track record in managing executive-level communications, with a strong emphasis on crafting compelling messages and coordinating communication strategies for internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of CEO Designate communications strategy, engaging stakeholders within the Communications team and across the company.
  • Support CEO Designate's speaking opportunities, including coordination of logistics and management of content.
  • Manage CEO Designate's profile across social platforms such as LinkedIn.
  • Develop talking points and content for internal engagements, including company meetings.
  • Write scripts for internal and external CEO Designate videos.
  • Work closely with CEO Designate's office and stakeholders across the company to update CEO Designate's briefing materials, and to coordinate and finalize content needed for travel to regional events, and country office appearances.
  • Collaborate with Public Relations and Analyst Relations teams on media and industry analyst engagements, as needed.
  • Analyze effectiveness of communication strategies and tactics, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
