Functions & Responsibilities
- Assist in ramp set up and storage of equipment and baggage.
- Load and unload luggage and equipment.
- Manually or using hand truck perform various material handling duties in the facility.
- Manually load materials on hand truck and aircraft. Open or close doors and prepares cars, trucks or aircraft for departure or shipments.
- Occasional pick-up and delivery of parts.
- Occasional transport of crews to airport locations.
- Perform duties with safety in mind.
- Be aware of surroundings and report any individual without a badge to the Supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Facilities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Aspiring A&P Mechanic in pursuit of license.
- Technical/vocational certification or equivalent
- Valid drivers license with a clean record required
- Previous experience in ground support and/or ramp operations, a plus.
- Positive attitude to work in an active aviation environment.
- Great communication skills to maintain effectual working relationships.
- Minimal proficiency in Microsoft applications.
